Trespassing Cattle

  On 23 December 1919 the church was to obtain disused railway sleepers from Inch Station to be used as posts and to enclose the church grounds and so to prevent trespass of cattle by using barbed wire.  

This was erected in February 1920 it is recorded that the barbed wire fencing had broken down a week later. There was no definite proof that damage was malicious.  

It was repaired and the unused posts were given to the teacher of Burnfoot National School for enclosing the school grounds.
