Ballygomartin Group, Belfast, bus tour

Group from Ballygomartin, Belfast
A group of seventy-nine from Ballygomartin in Belfast enjoying tea in Fahan Presbyterian Church Hall. There was a choice of salads, deserts and tea. The ladies love to provide flowers for the table at catering events.

Helpers at Ballygomartin Group catering

Some of the large team of ladies (and a few men) in the Kitchen during the catering. The Craic is usually good despite the hard work. Don't be telling anybody that after the group have departed the helpers sit down and enjoy salad, brown bread, beetroot jelly, potato salad, trifle, pavlova, ice-cream and other deserts (virtually all home-made).

Ballygomartin Group to Fahan
An Ulsterbus coach parked beside a private hire coach in the grounds of Fahan Presbyterian Church during the afternoon tea. This was a welcome rest for the coach drivers who had to negotiate roads on the Atlantic Drive that were a test of their skills. There were occassions when the passengers said the coach was rubbing along the ditch and hedge on one side with the other side close to a drop. There was great praise for both drivers.
