Moses Life Story
Teaching:
There is nothing that people can do to disrupt God's plan. If you are a Christian you can expect opposition, but God will help your faith become stronger through hard times.
Moses was placed in a basket on the Nile.
Teaching:
God chooses and helps people to carry out his plans. He protects them and prepares them for their task.
Murder
It happened when Moses came out of the Palace. It was an Egyptian that was killed for beating an Isrealite. His body was covered with sand. The killer ran away.........WANTED
Teaching
God's plan of salvation is perfect and nothing can stop it, not the plans of his enemies or the mistakes of his people.
Pharaoh
Pharaoh was the king of Egypt. He had all the power. He had slaves, they were the Isrealites. He had a daughter and a son.
Moses had a few flaws, but God could still use him.
Moses was a shepherd in Midian for many years.
While there he married Zipporah.
Moses reasons not to go
I cannot speak very well, Exodus 4:10.
Please send someone else, Exodus 4:13.
They may not believe me or listen to me, Exodus 4:1.
The burning bush.
There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up.
Moses, you must go and free the Isrealites.
"So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt." Exodus 3:10
