The church, one of eight Presbyterian churches in Inishowen and one of forty seven in the Presbytery of Derry and Donegal is located on the main route to this stunningly beautiful Peninsula in north Donegal. Some two and a half miles before the attractive village of Fahan with it's miles of golden sand. The church is on the main A2/ R238 road from Derry to Buncrana. The building is on the left hand side of the road one mile from Burnfoot village and some two hundred metres beyond the "Half Way House".

Church is located approximately left of centre on this view from the Golon Hill looking towards Grianán. This stone Celtic fort, also known as Grianan Ailigh, is circular in shape and located atop an 810 foot high hill northeast of Letterkenny. The views from this site are breath-taking, and include the areas around Donegal Town and Derry City. The hills of peninsulas Fanad and Inishowen are visible, along with the River Swilly, Lough Swilly and surrounding landscapes.
