Laken House Weekend sponsored by Peace III
Youth Fellowship Weekend to Lacken House, Rahara, Co. Roscommon.
Lacken House, set in five acres of land with ten bedrooms and four self catering flats was the base for thirty one young people and leaders from Donegal.
Lacken House is a ministry of OM Ireland.
They reported having a great time with Mike & Aster Mullins and their family. The three youth fellowships (Letterkenny, Ramelton and Fahan) got on really well and were all challenged to walk more closely with God. They were encouraged to share their faith in their daily lives with those around them.
The fun filled weekend involved a trip to Lough Key Activity and
Thanks to the Peace lll funding the enthusiastic group were able to hire a coach for the trip from Donegal, which normally would have been out of their price range. Driver, Neville Dennison done a great job and all arrived home safely. Tired; yes, satisfied; yes; and looking forward to a night in their own beds.
Outdoor activities were complimented by indoor activities.
Arms in the air as a sign of celebration. An excelent weekend by the three groups from Donegal.
Away from home and having a good time. When is the next weekend? Please! Please!
This is the Fahan group who really settled in well with the other two groups having all traveled together in the Peace III funded coach.
