Jesus is Lord - Romans 10: 9

The days of Elijah

The well attended meeting in the Church are heartily singing "These are the days of Elijah". This is a lovely song by Robin Mark, Belfast. The words are up on screen and also on the "Order of Service".
Over the arch is the words "Jesus is Lord" from the Bible at Romans chapter 10 verse 9. These words were first installed temporarily for a flower festival and subsequently made permanent.

The Rev. Knox Jones is here leading the congregation while David (see his picture by clicking here) is beautifully playing the piano.

The visiting speaker John Cartledge, from Ghana, will soon be giving a PowerPoint presentation from the lectern. The flowers are provided on a weekly rota by various families in the Congregation.

Days Of Elijah

These are the days of Elijah,
Declaring the word of the Lord:
And these are the days of Your servant Moses,
Righteousness being restored.
And though these are days of great trial,
Of famine and darkness and sword,
Still, we are the voice in the desert crying
'Prepare ye the way of the Lord!'

Behold He comes riding on the clouds,
Shining like the sun at the trumpet call;
Lift your voice, it's the year of jubilee,
And out of Zion's hill salvation comes.

These are the days of Ezekiel,
The dry bones becoming as flesh;
And these are the days of Your servant David,
Rebuilding a temple of praise.
These are the days of the harvest,
The fields are as white in Your world,
And we are the labourers in Your vineyard,
Declaring the word of the Lord!

There's no God like Jehovah.
There's no God like Jehovah!
