An invitation to the community of Inch.
Are you interested in Inch’s history and heritage? Do you have memories, photographs or documents that tell the story of the island? If so, Donegal County Museum would like to invite you to an open evening in Inch Hall on Wednesday 29th January at 7pm to hear about the museum’s involvement with the CINE project. Refreshments will be served from 6.45pm and staff from the museum, Donegal County Council’s mapping services and the University of Ulster will deliver a presentation about the project, and answer any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you.
About the project: For the last two years, the County Museum has been a partner on this digital history and heritage project. CINE aims to transform people’s experiences of outdoor heritage sites through technology, building on the idea of “museums without walls”. We are creating toolkits that will help remote and sparsely populated areas to preserve and present their cultural and natural heritage in innovative ways. By enlightening and educating people about their heritage landscapes and natural landscapes, we minimise the risk of exploitation of natural resources by industry and tourism.
Thank you in advance, Guy Barriscale, CINE Project Facilitator, Donegal County Museum. +353 (0)86 832 6157. http://cine.interreg-npa.eu/about-the-project/
We would be pleased to receive your prayer requests or queries on Christian faith.
