Presbyterian Women

 Welcome to the PW Corner.
The aim of our PW group is to provide Christian fellowship for women of all ages in our Church, to share the mission of our Church and to provide a Christian witness to our community.
The local Presbyterian Women have been meeting since 14th September 1960.
Our group meet at 8 pm on the third Wednesday of each month between September and April. We try to provide a varied programme with interesting and informative speakers on a variety of topics. At Christmas we provide a Christmas dinner and arrange entertainment for Senior Citizens of our own and neighbouring congregations. Once a year we visit the residents of the local Nazareth House Nursing Home providing afternoon tea and entertainment. We have a special interest in the Roulston family in Kenya (who are among other responsibilities involved in the Galana bridge building project) and financially support missions and local charities. Presbyterian Women is a ministry of the
Presbyterian Church in Ireland. Our members are actively involved in various aspects of the Church including Cake Sale, Bread & Cheese Lunch and Craft Fayre.

Fine weather and an attractive garden helped make the garden visit one of the highlights of the years programme.

PW Watch Pray Banner
"Watch & Pray" the banner hand-made made by the ladies of Fahan & Inch PWA (now called PW). Matthew 26:41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

We take part in an annual PW Service in the Church where the collection goes to PW Central Funds.

A difficult area to witness for Jesus.
One of these services was led by Jonny Doey of Ballysally Presbyterian (click here for details).
