For a number of years the Hall at Fahan Presbyterian Church has been used as the base for a fund raising lunch in support of teams from Exodus.
A well packed hall was tangiable evidence for the generous support for the team from Donegal that were planning a working trip to Romania. As supporters left others arrived to take their place.
The packed Church car park at Tooban, Burnfoot, Co. Donegal was evidence of a well supported event. The plan was to have a hearty lunc prepared by the team, their parents and supporters.
The weather was lovely, the sun shining and some of the overspill from the Donegal Exodus lunch, sat in the sun enjoying their lunch and ice cream.
How about a wafer (also called a slider )? The Exodus team are wearing their distinctive yellow "Exodus Teams" T-shirts. The warm Irish weather in May may be nothing compared with what the team will experience a few months later when sharing their Christian faith in Romania.
Lovely yellow bloom of the whins on the hillside are a backdrop to Fahan Presbyterian Church.
