The FLOUGH

'The Flough' is back in June.

The 'Flough' the traditional Irish cottage outside Muff was open for one night only in April for a special party, but will resume the normal programme in June.

Nights at the Flough as those who have been there will know are unique, the cottage itself in its original state - open hearth, settle bed, dresser, churn, etc. for those who have never been there the night starts with the home made bread, home made jam and apple tart. Afterwards the group re-inact "An American Wake" through song, dance and story, taking you back to the time a son or daughter of the house would be sailing for America the next day - a night to remember.
