Banoffee Pie


    • 4 ozs margarine
    • 1 ½ ozs caster sugar
    • 6 ozs plain flour
    • 1 dessertspoon milk
    • 1 tin condensed milk
    • 2 – 3 bananas



Place margarine and sugar in a bowl and beat until white and fluffy. Add milk and beat again. Add flour and beat gently until it forms a dough.         

Place in an 8-inch pie dish and cover completely with tinfoil. Bake for 20 – 25 mins, 180 C or Gas 4 until edges are golden brown.     

Remove from oven and remove tinfoil. Allow to cool.

Place unopened tin of condensed milk into a saucepan of boiling water, fully immersed. Boil for 2 hours. Leave to cool for at least ½ hr.

Slice banana thinly and place on top of biscuit base. Spread condensed milk over banana and sprinkle with flake. Refrigerate until required. Serve with fresh cream.
